"Connection" Project
Connect with people. Connect with ideas.
- Two "Connection" projects by zutto matsurika -
Time for children and their families
And the skills of the artisans who carefully pass on traditional handicrafts.
We want to gently connect each person's "now" with society.
With this in mind, zutto matsurika is carrying out two "connection" projects .

① Connecting through art:
"Connection" project with parent and child artists
In this project, we form partnerships with sick or disabled children and their families as "artists" and create products based on the art they create together.
These families spend a lot of time at home providing daily care and nursing,
There are often restrictions on how they can work and interact with society.
For example, a picture that parents and children have fun drawing can be transformed into a fabric product or miscellaneous item and sold.
The items will be sold with the artist's name and a description of the work.
By sharing the thoughts and background behind the work, families' expressions and individuality can be gently connected to society.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the families who provided the art.
We aim to create a cycle in which everyday creative activities have new value as "work."

② Connecting Japanese traditions to the future:
"Connecting" with creators project
The other is the connection with the craftsmen who continue to preserve Japan's traditional manufacturing methods.
At zutto matsurika, we form partnerships with these creators,
We create products that utilize traditional techniques.
The warmth of handiwork, the beauty of the materials, the careful accumulation of time...
It is our hope that these values will become integrated into our current lifestyles and be passed on to the next generation.
A portion of the proceeds from this initiative will be donated to organizations that support children with serious illnesses or disabilities and their families.
Traditional techniques are connected to someone's important daily life, creating hope for the future.
I hope we can gradually foster this kind of gentle cycle.
